Obituary of Dorothy S. Albert

Mrs. Dorothy Albert, 99, of Cathedral Village, 600 E. Cathedral Rd, Philadelphia, Born in Akron, Ohio, she lived in the Lafayette Hill area for 61 years. She attended the University of Akron and Temple University and was a teacher at Springfield High School, teaching courses in business education such as typing, shorthand, and accounting. She loved playing bridge and tennis, and was a volunteer at the Morris Arboretum. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. She leaves two daughters, Mary Kay Porter, Orange, CT, Jean Clark of Doswell, VA, and one son, James Albert, Findlay, OH; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Interment will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Monday at 11 am at Cathedral Village. Memorial gifts may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118, and to the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania, 100 E Northwestern Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
