I couldn't imagine asking for a lovelier person to have as a Grandmother. She was always quick to smile and laugh, always interested in everything, and her enthusiasm for life was infectious. She gave love as generously and selflessly as possible. Her laughter and love will be missed. I will certainly miss her for the rest of my life.
There are few people in your life that truly help mold the way you turn out, and my grandmother in law, was one of those people. Some of my greatest memories in life were spent with her. I admired her as a person. Her generosity towards myself, and her charity work with meals on wheels taught me the importance of life outside of ourselves. One of the kindest souls I have ever met. She will greatly be missed.
I DON'T KNOW YOUR MOM. RETTER IS AN UNUSUAL NAME. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU WERE RELATED TO MY GRANDFATHER, FRANCIS PETER RETTER AND HIS SON FRANCIS CHARLES RETTER AND HIS DAUGHTER, SISTER MARGUERITE RETTER?
I AM ONE OF THE CHILDREN OF FRANCIS CHARLES. I WILL KEEP YOUR FAMILY IN MY PRAYERS. GOD BLESS.
Dear Eileen--You were my Mom's best friend and when she died, you became my second mother. I will always cherish you. Please forgive me for not seeing you before you passed. Say hi to my Mom and Dad (Eileen and Tim). I am sure they were there, with Charlie, to greet you when you crossed over.
Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book.
