Obituary of Helene Miksitz

Helene (McKeever) Miksitz passed away on March 9, 2023 at age 61 in her home in Oley, PA. 

She was the wife of her beloved husband Carl Miksitz for 40 years and the devoted mother of her three adoring children Christopher Miksitz, Eric (Katelyn) Miksitz, and Tarah (Timothy) Kravatz. In addition to her husband and children she is also survived by nine of her thirteen siblings: Thomas (Christine) McKeever, Michael McKeever, Clarita McKeever Haney, Jane (William) Gramlich, Maryanne Craven, Celeste McKeever, Paul (Susan) McKeever, Patricia (Thomas) Toal and Colleen McKeever as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Helene is predeceased by her mother and father Thomas and Clarita McKeever, as well as her brothers John McKeever, Mark McKeever and Brian McKeever. 

Helene was born in Philadelphia, PA and attended school at Holy Family and Hallahan Catholic High School where she developed lifelong friendships. She also studied two years at Temple University. She retired in June of 2021 as a Business Manager at Penn State Lehigh Valley for 22 years. Helene was very dedicated, hardworking and took pride in her career. Over the years she has been a girl scout leader and helped coach in youth sports. She was also the life of the party and an incredible storyteller. She enjoyed her many trips to the shore at her family’s house in Wildwood.

Her services will be held on Friday March 17, 2023 at St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill, PA. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am followed by a mass at 11:00. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshockocken which will be followed by a celebration of her life at Presidential Caterers in Norristown.
