Bill and Bernadette were longtime players in the Football League on Tuesday nights. Bernadette also was President of the league for quite some time. All of your bowling buddies have missed you and we continue to think of you fondly. It was our pleasure to know you both, and we hope, Bill, that you find peace and understanding in your time of loss. You are in all of our prayers, and we will continue to honor and think of Bernadette by competing, having fun and sharing stories with each other from the alleys. Bernadette, we know you are in God's good hands. Bill, be well and know that your bowling buddies are thinking of you and praying for you each day.

Bernadette and Bill came into where I work every Sat nite.. They were always pleasant and patient. They never were looking at their phone ignoring each other, they always were laughing and talking, enjoying each others company. You could tell they were truly devoted to each other. I will miss her. Q: What will you never forget about Bernadette? A: Mrs. McMeans was such a sweet lady. I remember her smile and fun personality. She convinced me to be a Girl Scout leader with her and it was so rewarding. A great neighbor while I grew up and wonderful mom and wife. God Bless.

I did Bernadette's hair and saw her every week for 40+ years! I will miss seeing and talking with her. She was very special to everyone around her.

I truly loved Mrs. McMeans. She was an NTA when I attended Shawmont School and she spent a lot of time outside in the school yard providing balls for us to play with and making sure everybody behaved themselves. She was a small package with a fiery punch! Lol I used to talk to her everyday because she showed that she cared. I’m sorry to hear of her passing and send my sincere thoughts condolences to her family and friends.
