Obituary of Adele J. Halas

Adele J. Halas, 90, of Lafayette HIll, Pa. (formerly of alden and ambler) passed away at home on October 2, 2020.

a family graveside service will be held at holy sepulchre cemetary. Lownes family Funeral Home of lafayette hill will be handling the funeral arrangements.

adele was born in philadelphia to carolyn and reynold szczurowski. She went to high school at St. mary’s academy, logan, pa. adele earned her teaching degree from the university of pennsylvania. Adele went on to earn her master’s degree.she taught at sacred heart school and later at tredfryin- easton junior high school. she epecially loved working with the junior high students, where she retired from teaching.adele enjoyed going to new york to see plays on broadway as well as supporting local theaters and spending time with family and friends. she was especially fond of her 3 doberman pinscher dogs that she rescued.

Adele is survived by her sister, caryl ann cooper, steve cooper of honey brook, pa., MISSI COOPER, (niece), ben and nate of honey brook, PA., bruce cooper (nephew) and adrienne COOPER, olivia and addie of chester SPRINGS, PA. adele was preceded in death by john halas, caROLYN and reynold szczurowski.
