Still working and painting as Professional Fine Artist 32 years beyond graduating from College and earning my BFA,
and 30 years after graduate school and earned my MFA. Handling many responsibilities and hardship.
Age 57 years old going on 60; My Dad Herb would have been proud of me finding the courage to keep
on staying focused and hardworking; despite all the negative, manipulative ,
disparaging, discrediting horrible people encountered in life.
Thankful there are still some good people left in the world;
Although there are very few of us left.

Opposing destructive people with Intrusive destructive device technology is a constant hardship but,Even in the darkest hour I haven't given up.
Something my Dad Herb knew a lot about in life in his professional career of Broadcasting as distinguished member of the press.

Remembered my Dad Herbert fondly on his Birthday week of May 17th.
Keeping his place in order , clean ; backyard mowed and clipped back,
Hedge Clipped back etc.too, as My Dad Herb lived his life with
much courage, compassion and accomplishment.
He taught me the greatness of the value of hardwork
through challenges of life .
Sometimes we can't always control the obstacles we are faced with,
but we can reasonably find ways of achieving good solutions.

Herbert planted an Oak tree in his and victoria's back yard in 86'. Herbert sewed some oak seeds in Carpenters wood and Kitchens Lane wissohickon in the 1980's and now they are fully grown oak trees at Carpenter's woods and at Kitchen's Lane in the wiissohickon with many fruiting seeds since 1980's and lot's of seasons of falling oak leafs.Herbert and his Daughter took ncare of things into the 21st century.... and loved and nurtured every moment they were and are there in Mt. Airy, Phila, PA.

My Father Herbert made many self portraits Photography (As He was a true pioneer of broadcasting professionally; When he worked at CBS and NBC he did make some fine art photography this self portrait from the mid to late 1970's is one of my favorites.) Still doing the best I can for my DAD Herb.

Herbert is Unforgotten in every period of time spanning 80 years in America. Miss you Dad. The backyard is blooming again. The seeds we sowed, the perennials and bulbs we planted are growing again. The oak tree you planted is well, and for the first year in 54 years I got 3 more oaks to grow out of 3 acorns , one sprout bigger then the other 2 started. I shall keep mowing , and clipping the hedge for you again once a month, so the azalea doesn't overgrow again , and the honeysuckle blooms again, the hostas are growing as the cold frost has passed , the ivy I had to trim back ... once a month through spring, summer and fall. Hummingbirds soon to arrive.

I had the pleasure of Herbs acquaintance when I lived in the neighborhood from 2013-2015. Always a kind and considerate neighbor, pleasant and mindful of his neighborhood, he was nice to have a chat with or a wave to in the morning. My condolences to his family.

Condolences to the family. Herbie and I crossed paths way back when we were in the same Boy Scout Troop (337, I think) at the Advocate Methodist Church on Wayne Ave. in Germantown. Always was a friendly guy, a fast talker with a great smile even with the braces stage. Our paths separated as we got in to high school.
