Obituary of Josephine Gibson
Josephine (Crescenzo) Gibson, 85 years formerly of East Falls, passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at her daughters residence in Plymouth Meeting.
She was born on Sunday September 2, 1934 in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Samuel and the late Carmella ( D'Till) Crescenzo.
She is the wife of the late John L. Gibson who died in 1977.
She is survived by her loving daughters Aurella Rocchi ( the late Bill) and Angela Faust (Jim).
She was the sister of Rita Castorvillo ,Anna Zagorski, Anthony Crescenzo and Michael Crescenzo.
Josephine was predeceased by her siblings- Sal ,Grace, Frank , Rocky and Angelo.
She was the caring grandmother of -Jenna, Bill, Nicole , Jimmy and Michael and also her great grandchildren- Claire , Harper Mae , Emma and Harrison.
Josephine was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her viewing will be held on Sunday , 10/20/2019 from 5-7pm at the Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill and on Monday 10/21/2019 from 10-11am at Saint Philip Neri Church- 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill.
The funeral mass will be Monday 11am at the above church.
Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to The Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
