Obituary of Joseph T. Sullivan

Joseph T. Sullivan, aged 80, passed away peacefully at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery on Thursday, September 26th, 2019 surrounded by family. He was born on January 29th, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Gertrude Sullivan. He was a resident at the Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania and lived with his wife of 54 years, Susanne. He went to Saint Matthews High School and then went onto Notre Dame and Saint Joseph's University. 

He was a member of Messiah Methodist Church. He was the Assistant Chief, President, Treasurer and Life Member of the Barren Hill Fire Company and member of Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association, on the Colonial School Board from 1983-1991, member of Fritz Masonic Lodge #308 and the Tall Cedars. He was also on the council board for Freedom Valley Girl Scouts. 

He had three daughters, Amy (Larry Gale), Laura (Richard Sissick) and the late Rachel. He had three grandchildren Ashley and Gunnar Gale and August Sissick. He had one sister and three brothers Gerardine, Robert, Richard, and the late Louis Sullivan.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the services at Messiah United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at 527 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.
