Kevin M. Kirk, age 15 of Lafayette Hill PA, died suddenly Friday (6/8/2012 After a swimming pool accident at his home. Kevin was born in Phila., PA, the son of E. Bruce and Kathleen (Macek) Kirk. Kevin was a graduate of Ancillae-Assumpta Academy and was a freshman at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. He was a cancer survivor and the recipient of the Jack J. Plunkett H"94 Scholar-Athlete-Citizen Scholarship Award at Chestnut Hill Academy for the 2011-2012 academic year. The scholarship award was based on the scholar/athlete who best exemplified the defining qualities and characteristics of Mr. Jack Plunkett. Kevin's interests/activities included swimming, football, lacrosse, crew, acting and speech. He enjoyed socializing with his friends and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents and two sisters: Kaitlin Marie Kirk of Lafayette Hill, PA, Emily Grace Kirk of Lafayette Hill, PA one brother: Brian Cavis Kirk of Lafayette Hill, PA Paternal Grandmother, Nancy (Morris) Kirk; Maternal Grandfather, Joseph W. Macek He was predeceased by his twin brother Ryan Joseph Kirk Friends may call Wednesday 6/13/12 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 3551 N. Broad St. Phila. Pa. 19140
