When Kevin was a bit less than 5 years old, he said to his grandmother: "I know everything, just not all at once." His grandmother and I always felt that this was a profound statement made by an "old soul" about far more than sequential learning. May his work continue from the other side, and may the whole family come to the peace that he would want for you.

It is my heartfelt hope that light & love surround all of you as you navigate this extraordinarily challenging time. Throughout Kevin's first year at SCH, all I've heard about is how sweet, friendly, and kind he was to everyone around him. I am sorry that I did not get to know him better as he really seemed like an amazing and a one-of-a-kind person. It is truly an unbelievably heartbreaking tragedy that he has suddenly been taken from this world. I send my condolences and prayers to all of his family and friends and anyone who has ever had the privilege to know Kevin, no matter how briefly. Rest in peace; you will forever live on in our memories.

My condolences to Kevin's family. My daughter, Jasmine, was a classmate of Kevin's at NFA. They were together in the Montessori program with Sr. Marjorie Lawless. I seem to remember a go-cart birthday party for Kevin that Jasmine was invited to and attended. I know she had a good time. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who were close to Kevin.

I have known Kevin through his Aunt Diane who is my dear friend. Diane loves and adores Kevin. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin as a young boy when he came to visit her at work. He was not at all troubled by a brace on his leg as he walked by his Dad's side. I knew then this young boy did not know the meaning of the word obstacle. I am so blessed to have met him on this earth and to have seen the love he gave and received. I pray peace and comfort for a dearly loved family.
