Catherine E.(Schimpf) "Kay"," Aunt Cass" Fineran, age 91 of The Gwynedd Estates formerly of Plymouth Meeting and Lafayette Hill. died Saturday (4/9/11) . She was a retired Secretary For American Cynamid Hospital in Michagan. Mrs. Fineran was born in Lafayette Hill, PA, the daughter of the late John and the late Jennie Sharkey Schimpf.Wife of the late Vincent Fineran and former companion of the late Richard Manopello. Kay was a long time member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill where she was raised. She formerly lived in Flint Michigan with her late husband Vincent. At Saint Philips she was a member of their Phillipians Social Group. She was a graduate of Springfiels H.S. Montgomery County, and attended business school in Phila. She volunteered for many years at St. Josephs Villa in Flourtown and was always known as a care giver. Kay enjoyed Dancing and was a golfer in her early years and enjoyed attending family functions. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand and great. She was predeceased by her siblings- Mary O'Connor,John,Joseph,George and her twin brother Ted Schimpf. Friends may call Thursday 4/14/11 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the above church or St. Joseph's Villa, Flourtown Pa.
