Obituary of James J Zameska
It is with great sadness that the family of James Zameska announce his passing on Friday May 18, 2018 at the age of 70 years old.
He will forever be remembered by his wife of 36 years Debbie and his children, James Jr., Carla (Brian) Stenz, Christopher and Francis and his stepson, Craig Gribbin. Also survived by his seven grandchildren Brianna, Kayla and Brian Stenz, Tyler, Olivia and Connor Zameska and Mia Gribbin.
James was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marie (Leahy) Zameska, and his siblings Carol Fagan, Joseph Zameska Jr, Michael Zameska and Joy Thompson. He is survived by his sister Faith (James) Lauro.
Jim graduated Roxborough High School in 1965. He worked as a Philadelphia Fireman in the 1970's which he loved and also worked numerous jobs as a bartender. After retirement he enjoyed driving for Hymies Deli. Some of his favorite times were spent doing yard work, eating, walking his many German Shepherds, watching tv, especially Fox News and The History Channel and was an avid reader. His favorite time was spent with family, watching the Eagles, and attending Phillies games with his sons. What he treasured most were the Saturday nights spent with his Mother. Jim also made sure no matter how bad his health was declining to make it to Sunday mass each week.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill with a viewing from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with Mass immediately following. Internment will be at Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cywynd ,PA.
