I enjoyed the pleasure of having known Molly for a number of years. My acquaintance with her goes back to the days when she was selected as the administrator of what was then called the Montgomery County MH/MR/D&A Department. This loss reminds me in stark fashion that we only have "the best" amongst us for a limited period of time. We must constantly strive to do the most and best we can in life. Some do, some don't, but Molly certainly did.
Anyone who knew Molly for any period of time quickly learned of her passion around issues of social justice, her commitment non-pareil, and the dry and biting sense of humor that was part of any conversation. Meetings with her - however - hotly debated, ended having enjoyed a few laughs, a little wiser because of the time spent together, and a feeling of having been respected and treated fairly.
While Molly will be sorely missed by friends and family, the work that she has bravely done on behalf of so many will live on forever. Peace.

Molly was a sweet and glowing light in our world. She always had a smile and something positive to say. She was part of our group and a place will always be held in our hearts in memory of her, especially when we are together. May she rest in eternal peace.

I am sad to hear that Molly died. I went to Rosemont College with her. She was kind and had a dry wit. Her life of service and enjoyment of culture and love of friends and family are an example for us all. She did her life well.
