Obituary of Robert A Williamson

Robert A."Buzz" Williamson, III, age 100, of Lafayette Hill, formerly of Roxborough died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill. Buzz was born August 1, 1916 in Phila., PA. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Helen (Harlan) Williamson Jr.. He is the beloved husband for over76 years to Grace (Bissett. ) Williamson.

Buzz was a proud graduate of Roxborough High School and was a former active member of the Wissahickon Presbyterian Church.
He served our Country during World War Two and the Korean War in the Army. After the war Buzz became a Phila. Policeman and then went on after his retirement to work at Girard Bank. He also was a member of the Palestine Masonic Lodge #135 and was a life member of Lodge 5 of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Buzz will be sorely missed by his devoted family and friends and his Masonic Village Community.
He is survived by his wife: Grace (Bissett) Williamson two sons: Robert Williamson (Alice ) and Scott Williamson (Martha) . Also survived by his 4 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren and was Predeceased by a grandson Jeffrey.
A memorial service and Masonic Service will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 12 at Masonic Village Audutorium, 801 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 12 from 1-2pm at Masonic Village .
