Betty Jane (Berkle) Kennedy, age 81 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Thursday (1/27) in the Chestnut Hill Hospital. She was a Retired Cafeteria Assistant For Colonial School District At Ridge Park Elementary School. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Clement and the late Charlotte Weidner Berkle. wife of the late Walter G. Kennedy who had passed away in 1984. Mrs. Kennedy was an active member of Saint Peter's Luhteran Church in Lafayette Hill. She was a graduate of the Overbrooke H.S. Mrs. Kennedy enjoyed traveling to the casinos with her friends and also enjoyed puzzles and crocheting numerous baby blankets. She is survived by one daughter: Lynne A. Kennedy of Lafayette Hill, PA one son: Bruce W. Kennedy (Debbie) of Weekie Wachee, FLA Grandson, Anthony Kennedy Predeceased by a brother-Ed Berkle (Barbara) Friends may call Thursday 2/3/11from 6-8pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Friday - 2/4/11 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, . In leiu of flowers-memorial donations may be made to the above church.
