Phillip J. Hardy Jr.,"Cherryman", age 61, of Conshohocken died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his home . Phillip was born June 19, 1955 in Phila., PA. He is the son of the late Phillip and the late Elizabeth (Schultz) Hardy Sr. He is the beloved husband for over 27years to Barbara (Jann) Hardy He was employed by Sharp Corp. as a Machinist. Phil was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School .He was formerly of West Norriton Pa. and was a former member of Visitation BVM Church in Trooper. For many years he volunteered at the Phila.Folk Festival and became the Senior Supervisor of Camping. Phil was also the Shop Stewart for the union at Sharp Corp. where he had worked. Phil enjoyed music and camping and the great outdoors and he will be sorely missed by his devoted family and many friends. He is survived by his wife: Barbara (Jann) Hardy , two sons: Robert Hudreck, Phillip J. Hardy III; Brother of - Betsy Brady, Susan Sipe, Cheryl Sweat David Hardy, Christopher Hardy ; 4 Grandchildren-Aiden ,Phillip IV, Shannon and Sean,. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, December 10 at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be Saturday, December 10 from 10-11am at Lownes Family Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project- PO Box-758517,Topeka, KS.66675 . Phillip J.
