Obituary of Eleanor D. McLaughlin

Eleanor D. McLaughlin, age 90, of Quarryville Pa. died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Center . Eleanor was born April 3, 1926 in Phila., PA. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Bauer) Dougherty. She was the wife of the late Charles M. McLaughlin, who died in1990. She was a retired Secretary for an Insurance Co. Eleanor was raised in W. Phila. and was a proud graduate of West Phila. High School. She eventually moved with her late husband Charles to Lafayette Hill and she became a member of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church. Eleanor was a member of the Phillipians Social Group and was an active member of a local Bowling League. She also enjoyed summering for many years in Sea Isle City, NJ and attending local yard sales. She will be sorely missed by her devoted family and many friends. She is survived by her niece Donna Lee Russell and several other nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 27 at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA. . Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon Pa. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 27 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA..
