Obituary
Obituary of Kevin M. Quinn
Please share a memory of Kevin M. to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kevin was a quiet and introspective person. He graduated from Archbishop Kennedy High School and St. Joseph's University, but never stopped improving himself through education and training. Discovering a passion for computers, he worked at various jobs in the computer technology field.
Two of Kevin's greatest passions were football and dogs. During the fall, Sunday's became devoted to football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. We knew not to have a family dinner when the "game" was on the television. He also loved his gentle white golden retrievers, and regularly planned special weekends to take them camping, hiking, or swimming in the bay. But while relaxing at home, he could binge watch Sci-fi movies, or read books, articles on history, and science fiction all day long.
He loved going on outdoor adventures from skiing, biking, canoeing, or camping. His favorite pastimes coupled these activities with time together with friends. Wherever the location, they could talk and play strategy games until all hours of the night.
Determined to experience as many rollercoasters as possible throughout the country, Kevin traveled to many parks in search of that adrenaline rush. With his experience, Kevin held a world of knowledge when it came to roller coasters. In fact, a favorite memory was our Disney World excursion. As a seasoned Disney veteran, Kevin was our tour guide and made sure we took advantage of the fast passes and every "good ride", which meant going on every rollercoaster we could find.
Being the IT Specialist at Crown Trophy was both rewarding and at times challenging. Regardless of the problem, Kevin would search the Internet or printed resources until he would find the answer. In most cases, he was more knowledgeable, more experienced, and more determined than the technician on the other end of a service call. Moreover, he was an independent software and website developer, and as such would not be happy until the end result was flawless for both the owner and customer.
He was handy at home repair and was always willing to give a helping hand whether it was working on fixing a toilet, spackling walls, or doing some electrical work. If he was unsure of something U Tube University was a favorite place to find answers.
He was a loved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
His funeral mass will take place Wednesday ,August 3 at 1pm at the Saint Philip Neri Church-437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill,Pa.19444 The visitation will be from 12-1pm at the church. The burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in W. Conshohocken,Pa. following the mass.
