My sincere sympathy to Gordon's family at this time.
Gordon's coming to Tenth church was after my husband and I had left to pastor a Phila. Church. A couple of years ago I met Gordon at a Sunday evening service at Tenth. After he heard my name he said, "Did you know a man at this church by the name of Francis Collyer?" I answered, "That was my father". Gordon then went on to say that my dad and mother were the first people to welcome him to Tenth when he came to Phila. Then He inquired about whether I knew 2 other men, one my brother, the other my husband - both of whom he knew.
We often had great conversations since that time. He is sorely missed. It was a pleasure to know him.
