Obituary of Marie M. Paris

Marie M.( Callan) Paris, age 85, of Lafayette Hill, PA died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Paris was born May 21, 1930 in Phila., PA. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Margaret (Doyle) Callan Sr.. She was the beloved wife of Joseph C.Paris. She was employed by Clover Department Store as a Sales Associate. She is survived by her husband: Joseph C.Paris four sons: Joe Paris (Patti), Anthony Paris (Kimberly), John Paris, William Paris (Colleen); Sister of Edward Callan. Loving grandmother of-Anthony Jr. Matthew, Amy, Maria ,Lennon , Lynda , Abigail and Richard. Marie loved being a wife, mother and especially grandmother charging a dunkin donuts coffee and a donut as fee to babysit. She loved to color coloring books with her grandchildren. She loved to travel and eat out. She fondly recalled her trips to Ireland and Hawaii with her husband of 61 years Joe. She loved to go to the Mummers parade in Philadelphia and visiting her extended family in South Philly. It brought her much joy that house she grew up in on 2nd and Reed St was still owed by her family. She was great Mom to her four boys and they were all better people because of her. She was a much loving wife and will be missed by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, May 2 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion on Monday, May 2 at 12:30 pm. Calling hours will be Monday, May 2 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
