To all of Mr. Ash's family, I wanted to say how much I respected him and admired him and how kind he was to me all my life. He and his wife were real rocks of stability in our neighborhood when I was growing up and we always felt welcome, and were welcome, in their home. I remember when I was younger and my parents weren't home he once came over to our house to make sure there weren't any burglars lurking. He was a great man and will surely be welcomed into heaven. May he rest in peace.
