I met Majorie Bamont in the 1980s when I was working in Philadelphia. She was a memorably kind lady - to animals and to people. She extended herself to people in need and animals in crisis with outstanding care and concern. I am sorry to learn of her passing and know she is in heaven - where God will welcome this humane, generous lady.
