Obituary of Carl D. Hamilton Sr.

Carl D. Hamilton Sr., age 93, of Lafayette Hill, PA died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Chestnut Hill Hospital . Carl was born August 28, 1922 in Alfred , Maine He is the son of the late Benjamin P. and the late Francesca (Dambman) Hamilton. He is the husband of the late Rita (Sanczak) Hamilton who passed away in 2012. He was a retired Laundromat Owner with several locations in our area and former Loss Claims Adjuster . Mr .Hamilton was schooled in Waterboro Maine and upon moving to the Phila. area he attended The Brown Prep School and Drexel University. He served our Country during World War Two in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Hamilton was a member of St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and was an avid Phillies , Eagles and Flyers Fan along with his late wife Rita. For many years Mr. Hamilton enjoyed his walks at the Plymouth Meeting Mall with his friends. He is survived by one daughter: Cynthia Hamilton of Lafayette Hill, PA and one son: Carl D. Hamilton Jr. (Judy) of Upper Gwynedd, PA.; Brother of James O. Hamilton and 2 Grandsons -Carl III And Eric,. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, April 23 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
