Obituary of John G. Olivieri

John G. Olivieri, age 91, of Lafayette Hill died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home . John was born January 1, 1925 in Conshohocken, PA.. He is the son of the late Andrico and the late Vera (Mancini) Olivieri. He was the beloved husband of Mary M.(Bernd) Olivieri who passed in 2009. He was the former Owner/President Of Bux-Mont Appraisals in Lafayette Hill. John was a graduate of Springfield High School. He served in the US Army and also the Merchant Marines during World War Two. As a Lafayette Hill resident for many years , John coached Little League Baseball in Whitemarsh Twp. and also the Babe Ruth League. He was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and was also a long time member of Plymouth Country Club. For many years , John and his late wife Mary would spent time with family and friends in West Palm Beach Florida . John was also a former President of the Whitemarsh Twp. Republican Club and the Whitemarsh Lions Club along with the International Association of Damage Appraisers. He is survived by one son: Gabriel W. Olivieri (Terry) of Lafayette Hill and 8 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary and his son Michael J. Olivieri (Charlene) along with his 5 siblings. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, April 2 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444. Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton Calling hours will be Saturday, April 2 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church. Memorial donations may be made to the above church. .
