Obituary of Donald H. Grove

Donald H. Grove, age 59, of North Wales died suddenly Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Abington Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, PA. Donald was born December 18, 1956 in Atlanta, Ga. He is the son of Joan (Hemmerly) Grove the late Henry Grove. He was the husband for 18 years to Elizabeth Ann "Liz"(Crosson) Grove. He was employed by Motorola Corp. as a Lab Manager. Don was a graduate of Springfield High School and ran Track. He attended Montgomery County Community and graduated from Penn State University. Don was an avid Penn State Football fan and enjoyed spending summers in Beach Haven,NJ. Don was also an avid sailor and loved to race along with his brothers in their Catboat. Don and Liz are members of the Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club,where both of them were very active. Don will be sorely missed by his devoted wife Liz and by his and her families and many friends. He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Ann "Liz"(Crosson) Grove; his mother Joan (Hemmerly) Grove; Brother of Steve Grove, David Grove and Several Nieces And Nephews,. Calling hours will be Tuesday March 1 from 9:30-11 am and a Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting . Memorial donations may be made to the Penn State Dance Marathon-THON- C/O Finance office-227 D, Hub, University Park, Pa. 16802 Don was a gradauet of Springfield High School and ran Track.
