Obituary of Eileen M. Barry

Eileen M. Barry, age 67, of Oreland, PA died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Fox Chase Cancer Center of Phila., PA. Eileen was born October 1, 1948 in Phila., PA. She is the daughter of the late Richard and the late Eileen (Broderick) McMullin. She is the wife of the late William J.Barry Sr. Eileen was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved movies and music (especially The Beatles) and family trips to the mountains, to Wildwood and the Outer Banks. She enjoyed a long and happy marriage to her husband Bill that involved working very hard for their children, having fun and splitting beers and ultimately caring for him through a difficult illness. Late in life she fulfilled two dreams in traveling to Ireland and then Italy with family and friends. She was our family's nurse, babysitter, caretaker, advice-giver and rock. She is survived by four sons: William Barry Jr., Michael Barry (Jennifer), Brendan Barry (Diana), Timothy Barry (Danielle); Sister of : Kate McMullin and Maureen Starr (John) and the late Richard McMullin (Tricia) she also has 10 Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, February 26 at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. . Calling hours will be Thursday, February 25 from 6-8pm and Friday, February 26 from 10-11am at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..
