Obituary of Anna H. Conti

Anna H. (Cancelli) Conti, age 96, of Lafayette Hill, formerly of South Phila. died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Chestnut Hill Hospital . Anna was born June 10, 1919 in Phila. She is the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Carolina (Salvatore) Cancelli. She was the wife of the late Anthony Conti who passed away in 1992. Mrs. Conti was a former member of Saint Edmonds Parish and currently is a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School. Mrs. Conti enjoyed baking , cross word puzzles ,dancing, playing the piano, spending summers in Avalon ,NJ and babysitting along with caring for her family and extended family. She also was an avid reader , especially novels. She cherished her faithful dog Angel. Anna will be sorely missed by her devoted family and friends. She is survived by three daughters: Lydia A. Conti of Havertown, PA, Lorraine A. Pollio (Robert) of Lower Gwynedd, PA, Anna Marie P. Marinaccio of Lafayette Hill, PA and two sons: Ronald A. Conti (Gloria) of Phila., PA, Mario F. Conti of Manhattan, NY. Also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren,. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 3 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444 Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon . Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 3 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Philip Neri Church. Mrs. Conti was a former resident of South Phila. She was a former member of Saint Edmonds Parish. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School. Mrs. Conti enjoyed baking , cross word puzzles ,dancing, playing the piano, spending summers in Wildwood ,NJ and baby sitting along with caring for her family and extended family. She was also very fond of her faithful dog Angel. Anna will be sorely missed by her devoted family and friends.
