I am the youngest of Bill and Mary Alice Young and we lived next door to the Kent family my first 12 years before we moved to North Carolina. Tom Kent and his whole family were very, very kind to me as I spent many happy hours playing with Tim and Robbie and sometimes Celia, the oldest, at their house. I was very sad to leave Summit and Woodland Avenue when my father decided to move our family south. My early years with the Kent’s remain as wonderful memories for me. RIP Tom Kent.

To Mrs.Kent and Family:
Words cannot truly express how deeply saddened we are to hear about the loss of Mr. Kent. His courage, strength and amazing sense of humor was one that will never be forgotten. We are honored as a staff to have met and been able to spend time with Mr. Kent, and he will be greatly missed. He will certainly live in our memories and hearts forever. May you and your family find the comfort and peace that you seek, and may each coming day get easier for you.
“What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.” -Helen Keller
