Obituary of Diana C. Greco

Diana C. Greco, age 53, of Souderton and formerly Blue Bell, died at home in the loving arms of her family on Saturday, December 19, 2015 after a 17 year battle with brain cancer. She was born in Philadelphia on May 19, 1962 and lived there until 1974 when she moved to Lafayette Hill. She attended St. Philip Neri School and then went on to Mount Saint Joseph Academy for her high school years. From high school, Diana attended Gordon Phillips Beauty School to obtain her license as a cosmetologist. She worked for many years at Jean Madeline Salon in Plymouth Meeting Mall where she met many more lifelong friends. From there, Diana went on to attend Montgomery County Community College to obtain a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1993. She worked in a number of dental offices after graduation before settling on one in which she worked for more than 10 years. It was during those years that she was diagnosed with her first brain tumor. Throughout her illness, surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation she hardly missed a day of work. Diana had an unwavering love of music, movies and animals. She was always the life of the party or the party planner. Spunky was her middle name! Children of all ages loved her as she was a kid at heart herself. She will be sorely missed by her family and slew of friends. Diana is survived by her daughter, Julianna C. Greco; her parents, Joan (nee Petrone) and Anthony Greco; her sisters, Andrea J. and Gina M. Greco; and her nephews, C. Michael Stratton, Mitchel A. Gendelman, Matthew E. Gendelman and Maxwell A. Gendelman. Funeral mass Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00am, St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pk. Lafayette Hill, PA. Visitation 9:30-11am at Church. Int. private.
