Coleen M. (McGowan) Downey, age 49, of Lafayette Hill, PA. formerly of Delaware County and Barrington,NJ. died Saturday, September 26, 2015 .
Coleen was born July 30, 1966 in Upper Darby, PA. She is the daughter of Martin McGowan (Diane) and Linda (Smith) McCann. She is the wife of Joseph J. Downey Jr..
She was Home Maker and former Hair Dresser.
Coleen was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and enjoyed her family trips to Sea Isle City NJ during the summer and she loved to cook.
Coleen will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband: Joseph J.Downey Jr. four sons: Mason Chambers of Drexil Hill, PA, Joseph J. Downey III of Lafayette, PA., Jake M. Downey of Lafayette, PA., Sam D. Downey of Lafayette, PA.
Sister of : Jenny Longo, Megan Lewandowski, Suzanne Leveque, Mary Kate Holcombe and Sarah McCann; ; 1 Grandaughter- Abigail Also Survived By Many Nieces and nephews and her grandmother, Margaret McGowan.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, October 3 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. . Burial will be private
Calling hours will be Saturday, October 3 from 9:30-11:30am at Saint Philip Neri Church.
