Phyllis M.(Ciaccio) Pupkiewicz, age 71, of Plymouth Meeting died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her home . Phyllis was born October 10, 1943 in Norristown, PA. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Carmela (DeStefano) Ciaccio. She is the wife of Edward J. Pupkiewicz Sr..
She was employed by Colonial School District as a School Teacher at Whitemarsh Elementary School.
Phyllis was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School and Cabrini College where she received her teaching degree.
She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the former Plymouth Whitemarsh Conshohocken Exchange Club.
Her hobbies included gardening with a love of flowers of all types, cruising and her frequent trips to Disney World with the entire family.
Phyllis will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, a devoted grandmother to Ashleigh and Kristina along with touching so many young students lives through her career as a caring teacher.
She will be sorely missed by her loving family and friends and her many students.
She is survived by her husband: Edward J.Pupkiewicz Sr. , one daughter: Beth Lake (James) of Paoli, PA and one son: Edward J. Pupkiewicz Jr.(Patricia) of Worcester, PA.; Sister of : Gregory Ciacco and the late Anthony Ciaccio. 2 Grandaughters-Ashleigh and Kristina,.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 23 at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting.. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 22 from 6-8pm at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Wednesday, September 23 from 9:30-10:45am at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wissahickon Hospice - 8835 Germantown Ave Phila .Pa.19118.
