Brian J. Bennett, age 59, of Lafayette Hill formerly of Fairmount died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at University Of Penna. Hospital of Philadelphia . Brian was born December 16, 1955 in Phila., PA. He is the son of the late Francis A. Bennett and Marie (Kenney) Bennett.
He was a Director Of Supply Chain Operations in The Pharmaceutical Field.
Brian was a proud graduate of St .Joseph's Prep High School and Marist College where he received his BA Degree. Both at St. Joes Prep and Marist College , he was a member of the Rowing Team. He was also a member of the Gaelic Society and was a writer for his school newspaper , The Circle at Marist.
Brian was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill he also was a former Little League Baseball Coach in Whitemarsh Twp. and Crew Dad at Merion Mercy Academy.
Brian was an avid Eagles Fan , enjoyed music and concerts and summering in Ocean City NJ.
Brian will be sorely missed by his devoted family nad many friends.
He is survived by his wife: Laurie (Zehnder) Bennett , one daughter: Kerry J. Bennett of New York and one son: Brian T. Bennett of Lafayette Hill, his mother Marie (Kenney) Bennett; Brother of Karen Gonski of Phila. and the late Francis "Bud" Bennett
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, September 11 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill.. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
Calling hours will be Thursday, September 10 from 6-8pm and Friday, September 11 from 9:30-10:45am at Saint Philip Neri Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Hospital. C/O Developement Office, 3535 Market St.Suite 750, Phila.Pa.19104.
