Pearl Anna "Pat" Payne, age 94 of Cresco PA, formerly of Lafayette Hill died Tuesday (12/7/10) in the VNA Hospice House in Monroe County.
She was a Retired Saleswoman For The Strawbridge And Clothier Dept. Store at the Plymouth Mtg.Mall and had worked for over 15yrs. In the Boys wear department

Mrs. Payne was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Walter and the late Cora Vanaman Patton.wife of the late George E. Payne who died in 2001.
While residing in Lafayette Hill for many years Pat and her husband George owned and operated the Paynes Fairlawn Store at Center ave. and Germantown Pike ,which is now the Whitemarsh Beverage .
Pat was a long time active member of Saint Peters Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill and was a former sunday school teacher and taught for over 20yrs. and was a choir member.She also helped organize the Lutheran League and was active with the Missionary Society and was a former girl scout troop leader.
While residing in Cresco Pa. she was a member of the Paradise Falls Lutheran Assn. and the Saint Pauls Lutheran Church in Tannersville,Pa.
Besides her husband ,she was predeceased by a son Fred Payne and a daughter Pat Sullivan.
She is survived by daughter in law- Christine Payne Coakley and son in law Rob Sullivan, also 9 grand , 9 great grand and 5 great great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Services will be held privately.
Memorial donations may be made the the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County,502 Independence Rd. E. Stroudsburg,Pa. 18301.
