Obituary of John B. Maloney

John B. Maloney, age 89, of Blue Bell died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Normandy Farms Estates of Blue Bell. Mr. Maloney was born August 13, 1925 in Atlantic City, NJ. He is the son of the late William and the late Henrietta (Peters) Maloney. He is the husband of Maria (Tenreiro) Maloney. He was a retired Art Director for The Tasty Baking Co. Mr. Maloney was a graduate of Holy Spirit High School in Atlantic City and the University of the Arts in Phila. Prior to Living at Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell , he was a resident of Ambler. He was also a former member of St .Anthony's Church in Ambler. John enjoyed motorcycles, ice skating , painting and restoring vintage cars. He is survived by his wife: Maria (Tenreiro) Maloney , one daughter: Katherine "Kit" Harker (John) of Lafayette Hill and two sons: Peter Maloney (Catherine) of Atlanta, GA, Stephen Maloney (Nicole) of Villanova, PA; Brother of Therese Byrne also survived by 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Ellen Maum. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 18 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Burial will be held privately at Old Cathedral Cemetery, Phila. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 18 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Mr.Maloney was a graduate of Holy Spirit High School in Atlantic City and the Univeristy of the Arts in Phila. Prior to Living at Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell , he was a resident of Ambler. He was also a former member of St.Anthony's Church in Ambler.
