Margaret M.(McDevitt) Conroy, age 92, of Lafayette . died Monday, July 27, 2015 . Mrs.Conroy was born June 15, 1923 in Phila., PA. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Sarah (Duffy) McDevitt. She was the wife of the late John D.Conroy who passed away in 1977. . Mrs. Conroy was raised in S.Phila. and after marraige moved to the Mayfair Section of Phila. She was a former member of St.Jeromes Church and Saint Timothy's. She currently is a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill where she resided with her daughter MaryEllen. Mrs. Conroy was a graduate of the Hallahan High School. She was always known to be a meticulous home maker that loved to cook and sew and garden. Mrs.Conroy also loved to decorate and also enjoyed her many summers with her family in N.Wildwood,NJ. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends. She is survived by three daughters: Maragert M."Peg" Liebman (Andy) of Phila., Maureen P. McCarrie of Phila., , MaryEllen Conroy of Lafayette and two sons: John D. Conroy (Jane) of Harrisburg, William J. Conroy (Sharon) of Wayne, PA; Sister of : Theresa Jankauskas of Drexil Hill, PA, Dorothy Gramlich of Jenkintown, PA; ; 8 Grandchildren And 1 Great Grandchild.,. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 29 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill.. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon . Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 29 from 9:30-11AM at Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Convent of Divine Love of the Pink Sisters, 2212 Green St. Phila.Pa.19130.
