George H. Fisher Jr., age 80 of Roxborough, died Tuesday (12/7) in the Roxborough Memorial Hospital. He was a Retired Surveyor For The City Of Phila.for the 9th district ,a career he truly loved for 55yrs. Mr. Fisher Jr. was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late George H. Sr.. and the late Edith Runacres Fisher Graduate of Roxborough H.S. He was a former Little League and football coach in Roxborough George was a Korean War veteran serving 1951-1955 for the Airforce in England where he met his first wife Anne Titcomb of Oxford England. He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Abey ) Fisher one daughter: Leslie Issa two sons: Steven Fisher, Gregory Fisher three sisters: Lois, Phyllis, Linda one brother: Robert Fisher 8 grandchildren, Friends may call Saturday 12/11/10 from 10-11am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am officiating. Burial will be private in the George Washington Memorial Park, .
