Obituary of Robert M. Messner

Robert M. Messner, age 53, of Norristown formerly of Willow Grove died suddenly Thursday, May 28, 2015 . Robert M. was born July 2, 1961 in Phila., PA. He is the son of Melvin and Dorothy (Gaughan) Messner of Brigantine,NJ. He was employed by Verizon as a Technician and also worked for the Home Depot in Trooper in their paint department. Robert was a graduate of the Upper Moreland High School Class of 1979. He was a member of the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church and also served in the US Air Force . Bob enjoyed camping, the Jersey Shore and working with his hands and fixing things in general. He was a former coach to his kids ,coaching their football, baseball and soccer teams. Bob will be sorely missed by his loving family and many friends and co-workers. He is survived by his wife: Sandra (White) Messner ,his daughter: Melanie A. Moletzsky(Andrew) of Plymouth Meeting, PA. and four sons: Nick R. Messner (Kim) of Great Mills, MD, Corey R. Messner of Norristown, PA, Austin T. Messner of Norristown, PA, Dakota C. Messner of Norristown, PA; his father Melvin and mother Dorothy (Gaughan) Messner; Brother of : Barbara Higgins , William Messner and Donald Messner; ; 2 Grandsons-Nickolas And Andrew.,. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 3 at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, 3050 W. Ridge Pike, Eagleville, PA . Burial will be in Lower Providence Prebyterian Church Cemetery His visitation will be Wednesday, June 3 from 9:30-11AM at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, 3050 W. Ridge Pike, Eagleville, PA.
