William F. Payne Sr., age 93, of Audubon, PA died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Seasons Hospice of Phoenixville, PA..
He was born February 19, 1922 in Norristown, PA. He is the son of the late Frederick G. and the late Clare E. (Hart) Payne. Husband of the late Mildred (Maddock) Payne and the late Marie "Betty "( Gradwell ) Payne.
He was employed by Sealtest as a Milk Man.
Mr. Payne was a former long time resident of Lafayette Hill Pa. and Somers Point NJ. and N.E. Phila.
He was a graduate of the former Barren Hill Consolidated School and Springfield High School.
Mr. Payne served our country during World War Two in the US Navy.
He attended Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in his younger days and was an avid gardener.
He is survived by two daughters: Mildred "Chickie" Payne (Jane) of Audubon, PA, Elaine Rhoads (Norman) of Rehobeth Beach, DE and two sons: William F. Payne Jr.(Georgia) of Drexel Hill, PA, Frank Payne (Terri) of Morgantown, PA; Brother of : Alfred Payne he is also survived by several Grandchildren And Great Grandchildren his step children.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, May 22 at Forrest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Rd., Huntington Valley, Pa.19006 -215-677-5800. Upon entering the cemetery please look for the signs and follow the arrows for the William F .Payne service.
Following the graveside service there will be a luncheon at the Tiffany Diner-9010 Roosevelt Blvd.Phila.Pa.19115.
