Obituary of Ruth T. Nevergole

Ruth T. Nevergole, age 97, of Plymouth Meeting died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Cathedral Village, She was a retired . School Teacher. She. was born September 4, 1917 in Phila., PA. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Rachel (Gilchrist) Twelves. Wife of the late J. Mack Nevergole. Mrs.Nevergole was a graduate of Girls High School in Phila.and Beaver College which is now Arcadia Univ. Her teaching positions were in Chadds Ford School District,Radnor Township School District and Colonial School District. She was an active member of the Plymouth Meeting Historical Society and served on their board of directors.For many years Mrs.Nevergole participated in the Art Goes to School Program at Colonial. She also was an active member of Saint Jude and the Nativity Church in Lafayette Hill and was also a member of the Beatrice Potter Society. She is survived by two daughters: Maragert Skurtun of Santa Rosa, CA, Nancy Nevergole of Portland, Maine and one son: John M. Nevergole (Rosemarie) of Lafayette Hill, PA.; Sister of : Paul Twelves; also survived by 2 Grandchildren-- Jennifer And John,. A memorial service will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 21 at Saint Jude And The Nativity Church, 203 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. . Burial will be private in Friends Cemetery, Plymouth Meeting . . Funeral arrangements are by the Lownes Family Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill. .
