Margot F. Kleinschmidt, age 81, of Roxborough,Phila. died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Chestnut Hill Hospital of Philadelphia, PA. Margot F. was born October 3, 1933 in Dresden, Germany. She is the daughter of the late Kurt and the late Freda (Fuhrmanneck) Haessler. Wife of the late Robert F.Kleinschmidt. She was employed by as an Information Officer For The Phila .Airport. Mrs. Kleinschmidt having been raised in Germany survived the bombings in her home town of Dresden and later was able to escape with a choir from the Russian sector of Germany to the American sector of Berlin. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends. She is survived by two daughters: Diana Bayer (Jim), Linda Peterson (the Late Randy) and four sons: Robert Kleinschmidt (Roxie), Kurt Kleinschmidt (Lynne), Stephen Kleinschmidt (Kim), Albert Kleinschmidt (Kelly); ; ; 10 Grandchildren ,. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, April 17 at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, Pa. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 16 from 6-8pm and Friday, April 17 from 10-11am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. .Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Mrs. Kleinschmidt having been raised in Germany survived the bombings in her home town of Dresdin and later was able to escape with a choir from the Russian sector of Germany to the American sector of Berlin. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends.
