Robert W. Gable, age 92 of The Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill PA., died Saturday (1/31/2015) at his residence. He was a retired Photographer Mr. Gable was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Charles and the late Bertha Nebhuth Gable. Husband of the late Gloria (Kostecky) Gable who died in 2010. Mr. Gable was a former resident of King of Prussia and Mt.Airy . He was a proud Veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corps as a Sergeant in the 17th Photographic Technical Unit and the 67th Tactical Recon Group. Besides obtaining his service medal he also received 5 Bronze Stars. He is survived by his loving nieces and nephews. . Memorial Services will be held Friday-2/27/2015 at 12:00 pm in the Lownes Family Funeral Home, Lafayette Hill, with Pastor Bruce Todd officiating. ***Burial will be AT A LATER DATE in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
