Margaret (Miller) Zenner, age 86 of Normandy Farms Estates Blue Bell Pa.,formerly of Lafayette Hill died Thursday (2/12) at Normandy Farms Mrs. Zenner was born in South Bend, IN, the daughter of the late Callix and the late Marguerite Sweeney Miller.Her father was an architect and Engineer.She is the wife of the late Walter F. Zenner Sr. Mrs.Zenner graduated cum laude from St.Mary's College in Notre Dame,Ind. In 1949 with a triple major in English, Philosophy and Theology. In June of 1951 she married her husband Walter, a University of Notre Dame grad. The couple had seven children, in whom Mrs.Zenner instilled her life-long appreciation of literature, education and the arts. Mrs.Zenner pursued formal graduate studies and her own teaching career beginning in the early 1970's .She earned a Masters Degree in English from Temple University in 1973 and then completed the coursework require of a doctoral candidate there in 1982. She specialized in Renaissance- to 18th century drama, poetry and prose, as well as women's studies. For almost 20 years ,Mrs. Zenner taught English composition and literature at several universities including, LaSalle,Villanova, Immaculata, Rosemont and Gwynedd Mercy. She is survived by three daughters: Marie Therese Zenner-Stegeman(late Charles), Margaret Mary Zenner-Sivel (Thomas), Pauline Z. Ratkowiak (Clarence) four sons: Walter F. Zenner Jr.(Ruth), Christopher J. Zenner (Diane), Peter T. Zenner (Patricia), Callix M. Zenner(Kathy) one brother: Callix Miller 26 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren., She was predeceased by her brother-James,John,Paul and Duane Miller.
