Lucy T. DeCenzo, age 97 of Lafayette Hill Pa, died Wednesday (12/17) in the Regina Nursing Center. She was a retired Cook employed by Colonial School District Mrs. DeCenzo was born in Bridgeport, PA, the daughter of the late Domenico and the late Maria Proietto D'Onofrio. Wife of the late William A. DeCenzo Sr. who passed away in 1989. Mrs. DeCenzo was born and raised in Bridgeport,Pa. and was a graduate of the former Bridgeport High School. While living in Bridgeport she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Eventually years later Lucy and her family resided in Lafayette Hill and she became a member of Saint Philip Neri Church where she was also a member of their Phillipians Social Club. Lucy was known as a great cook especially her homemade pasta dishes and taking care of others. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends and neighbors. She is survived by one daughter: Maria Brown (the Late Jim) of Lafayette Hill, PA two sons: William DeCenzo Jr.(Diane) of Cedars, PA., Michael DeCenzo(Alice) of Downingtown, PA 8 Grandchildren,2 Great Grand.,any many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Predeceased By Her Siblings-Phlip,Thomas,Joseph,Frank,John,Louis D'Onofrio and her sister Gevena Profera.
