Alan H. Bickel, age 94 of Blue Bell formerly of Abington died Monday (11/24) in the Willow Brooke Court at Normandy Farms Estates. He was a Mechanical Engineer, employed by For Proctor And Swartz Mr. Bickel was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Mahlon L. and the late Marybelle Evenden Bickel.Husband of the late Lorainne (Wentz) and Late Doris (Miller) Bickel. He served in the Navy during WW2. . He is survived by two daughters: Lorainne B. DaGastino (John) of Hatboro, PA, Barbara Winn (Rodney) of Lititz, PA one sister: Betty Ward step daughter, Marilyn Jaggers (Leslie) of Westchester, PA; step daughter, Wilma Morgan (late Tom) of Chester Springs, PA; 14 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grand., ;predeceased by his daughter, The Late Peggy Lausberg (Jeff) . Memorial Services will be held Thursday 12/4/2014 at 2:00 pm in the Normandy Farms Estates Auditorium, Blue Bell, Burial was private in the West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Balacynwyd.
