Jeanne E.(Flounders) McAdam, age 84 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Monday (11/24) in the Phoenixville Hospital. She was a Retired Guidance Counselor And Educator, employed by Cora Services Mrs. McAdam was born in Abington, PA, the daughter of the late Edmund and the late Ann Galistsky Flounders Sr.. Mrs.McAdam most recently was a resident of The Parkhouse in Royersford and she was a former long time resident of Lafayette Hill. Jeanne was a graduate of Little Flower High School and received an Associates degree from Montgomery County Community College and a B.S. at Temple Univ. and in 1978 she received her Masters Degree from Villanova Univ. in Counseling. She was a past president of the Meridian's of Montco. College and in her younger days she was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and a model. She was a fromer member of Saint Matthews Church in Conshohocken and Sant Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. Jeanne was also known to be an excellent cook and will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by one daughter: Kathleen Mayer (Paul) of Wayne, PA one son: John McAdam (Kathleen) of Lambertville, NJ two sisters: Patricia Amodei, Josephine Flounders one brother: Edmund Flounders of Lafayette Hill, PA 6 Grandchildren ,1 Great Grandaughter, She was predeceased by a daughter Sharon McAdam.
