Mildred M.(Crowe) Magee, age 89 of Lafayette Hill PA.formerly of Roxborough and Flourtown, died Thursday (10/7) at the Masonic Village . She was a Retired Bookeeper for WFLN Radio Franklin Broadcasting Co. Mrs. Magee was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Horace and the late Eva Nicholls Crowe.She was the wife of the late John H. Magee who had died in 1981. Mildred was a former member of the Leverington Presbyterian Church in Roxborough and was their former Sunday School Superintendant along with being a trustee and chior member. She was a graduate of the Simon Gratz H.S. in Phila. Mildred enjoyed playing the piano and volunteering her time at the Masonic Village and also for the Meals on Wheels program. She is survived by one daughter: Carol M. Henry of Mt. Ulla, NC one sister: Doris Davidson (John) of Marlton, NJ *6 grandchildren,8 great, She was predeceased by a daughter- Elaine Dixon (Tom) Friends may call Saturday 10/16/10 from 11-11:30am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Memorial Services will be held at Sat. 10/16 at 1:30 pm in the Masonic Village Chapel, 801 Ridge Pike Lafayette Hill, pa.19444. Burial will be Saturday in the Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall. *In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Village.
