Katharine(Vischer) Hendrickson, age 86 of Ft. Washington PA, died Sunday (11/9) at her reisidence . Mrs. Hendrickson was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Dr. Thomas and the late Katherine Smith Vischer. Mrs. Hendrickson was a 1946 of the Springside School for Girls. She loved the arts including Broadway Musicals, opera etc. She was a member of the Union League of Phila. and the Phila. Cricket Club and the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. Mrs. Hendrickson also enjoyed entertaining along with traveling especially to Sunset Lodge at Damariscotta Lake in Jefferson Maine. She is survived by one daughter: Laurie J. Solakian of Lower Gwynedd, PA two sons: Thomas V. Johnson (Penny) of Ambler, PA, Gerald B. Johnson (Gail) of Ft. Washington, PA one brother: Thomas Vischer Jr. of Devon, PA 6 Grandcildren ,4 Great Grand., Friends may call Saturday from 2-3pm at Presbyterian Church Of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave., Phila., Pa.19118 A memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm at the church. Contributions may be made to Damariscotta Lake Watershed Assn. (DLWA),PO Box 3, Jefferson ME 04348-(All donations will not be re-solicited).
