James C. Johnson, age 61 of Warrington PA, formerly of West Milford and Basking Ridge,NJ died suddenly Thursday (7/17) in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown,Pa. He was a Retired Director For Wyeth Labs Mr. Johnson was born in Hackensack, NJ, the son of the late Charles and the late Marie Daley Johnson. Jim was a graduate of Ridge High School in Basking Ridge ,NJ and NJIT receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering. In High School and College he was a member of their track teams. Prior to moving to Warrington,Pa. he was a resident of West Milford,NJ. Jim was a marathon runner and enjoyed playing tennis along with hiking, traveling, wood working, sailing, gardening and playing his guitar. Jim had sung in the choir for his former church in Basking Ridge,NJ along with his current church in Warrington. He is survived by his wife Joan M. (Von Hacht ) Johnson one son: Christopher J. Johnson of Pittsburg, PA three sisters: Judy Loree of Chatham, NJ, Kathy Viarengo of Basking Ridge, NJ, Midge Magnier of Annandale, NJ one brother: Tom Johnson of Pluckemin, NJ 1 Grandaughter- Shira, Also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
