Obituary of F.Wayne Goshen Sr.

F. Wayne Goshen Sr., age 74 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Thursday (5/1) at Paoli Memorial Hospital . He was a Sexton for Saint Peter's Lutheran Church,Lafayette Hill. Mr. Goshen Sr. was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Charles and the late Elverta Lightkap Goshen. Husband of the late Margaret (Graham) Goshen Wayne was a 1957 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. He was a former employee of the Kaufman Plush Fabric Company in Phila. and The Gas Springs Co. of E. Norriton and Colmar. Also for many years Wayne worked two jobs and had worked part time for the former Fountain Inn on Ridge Pike in Lafayette Hill as a bar tender along with Westover Country Club and most recently was the sexton at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church where he also was a faithful member. Wayne was also a life member and current Head Stewart for the Conshohocken Bocce Club (CBC). Wayne was always willing to help when help was needed and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by two sons: Franklin Wayne Goshen Jr. of B;oomsbury, NJ, Thomas Goshen of Lafayette Hill, PA one sister: Virginia Cantwell of West Wildwood, NJ one brother: Edward Goshen of San Diego, CA 2 Grandchildren-Lydia And Jakob., He was predeceased also by a son Edward Goshen. Friends may call Friday May 9,2014 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be private Memorial donations may be made to the above church or to The Juvenile Diabetes Assn.
