Marcia H.( Gorham) Robinson, age 57 of Plymouth Meeting PA., died Thursday (9/2) in Montgomery Hopital after an 11 year fight with breast cancer. Marcia was a buyer for the former Clover Stores and was a former aerobics instructor for Conshohocken and Whitemarsh Recreation Programs. Most recently ,she helped start up,design,decorate and landscape the River of Life Marial Arts and Wellness Center in Ft. Washington and even today you can feel her energy weeding the gardens and planting the flowers . Marcia was known as a marvelous cook and hostess to all who knew her and those who just had met her instantly became a friend. Mrs. Robinson was born in Trenton, NJ, the daughter of the late Ogden Gorham and Joyce (Gage) Gorham Gulowsen . Marcia grew up in Morrisville Pa. and graduated Temple Univ. along with the famous Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. She is survived by her husband Richard J. Robinson three sons: Jason L. Robinson (Ashlie) of Blue Bell, PA, R.Jeffrey Robinson of Plymouth Meeting, PA., Peter D. Robinson of Plymouth Meeting, PA. one sister: Margaret A. Gorham of Nanticoke, PA two brothers: Ogden G. Gorham of Littitz, PA, John F. Gorham of Yardley, PA Grandaughter, Kayla Robinson; Grandson, Aiden Robinson Friends may call Wednesday Sept. 8, 2010 from 11-12 at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA.. Memorial Services will be held at 12pm Burial will be private In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a tree or some flowers planted in her loving memory.
